Aaron's Firearms Training

This Conceal Handgun Certification Class consists of:

 

1. The laws that relate to weapons and to the use of       deadly force;

2. Handgun use, proficiency, and safety;

3. Nonviolent dispute resolution; And

4. Proper storage practices for handguns with an             emphasis on storage practices.

5. DPS test.

6. Range qualification

 

Basic Concealed Handgun License Qualification:

 

1. Is a legal resident of this state for the six-month

2. At least 21 years of age

3. Has no convict of a Felony

4. Is not charged with Class A or Class B

5. Is not a Fugitive from Justice

6. Is not chemical Dependent

7. Is not incapable of storage of a Handgun

8. Has not, in the five years Class A and B misdemeanor

9. Is fully qualified in law to purchase a handgun

10. Child support caught up and not defaulted

11. Taxes not delinquent

12. Has not in 10 years had a felony from application

13. Has not made any material misrepresentation, or failed to disclose any material fact, in an     application  

 

The instructor will provide you with the range fee, handgun (a loaner fee would be added), notary, and forms needed to complete your conceal handgun application.

 

The student provides: class fee, ammunition and students own handgun (if they have one), baseball cap, and buttoned up shirt.

 

There is no fee for eye/ear protection.

 

If ammunition is needed there is a fee due at time of registration. The Fee's vary in caliber size.
